Abstract
V-Tec Trust Beam consists of a steel lattice girder cast onto a concrete foot to form a lightweight, pre-cambered beam with large span characteristics.The main idea of the project is to perform a detailed numerical investigation in the University of Brighton (UoB) using SAP 2000 (structural analysis and design program) and optimize the characteristics of the system.
