The rigid development methodologies used today in the Aerospace sector are unable to cope with the rising levels of complexity of Aerospace systems. The result is that development time and costs are rising, and thoroughly revolutionary and greener new technologies are constantly 15 to 20 years away. Currently used Systems Engineering and design verification work methods are not effective as valuable time is spent on document creation and document management instead of being spent on innovation and product improvements.
