Policy and engagement fellowship in digital research infrastructure

Lead Research Organisation: Loughborough University
Department Name: Politics and International Studies

Abstract

The fellowship will be part of a UKRI-wide programme to enhance national digital research infrastructure for all UKRI communities, in particular the development of high-performance computing capabilities for the Arts and Humanities community. It will involve working closely with the directors of existing data services to develop the technical specification and architecture for a federated infrastructure of arts and humanities data repositories as well as with existing UKRI digital research infrastructures to ascertain how these capabilities can be enhanced to meet the needs of Arts and Humanities researchers in order to provide robust and tailored support for those disciplines not traditionally associated with large-scale computational methodologies.
