Description | Workshop in Nepal revealed that evidence of JEV moving to higher elevation in the Himalaya was possibly caused by bias - less disease in lowlands (though vaccination) increasing apparent magnitude of outbreaks in highlands where vaccination is not available. This concept is written up in the cited paper. |
Exploitation Route | Recommend that improved surveillance is used in Nepal to assess whether JE is moving |
