Localisation of iron and zinc in grain of biofortified wheat
in Journal of Cereal Science
Description | Work in progress has identified variation in the accumulation of iron and zinc in a range of related genotypes of bread wheat grown in the UK and India, including differences in the distribution within the grain. New high zinc lines from CIMMYT have been compared with conventional wheat lines in field trials in the UK, to determine differences in the amount and distribution of zinc within the grain. |
