Description | This award was to commission a report as to the potential for follow-on funding for the use of novel mathematical models to aid receptor drug screens in the pharmaceutical industry. A consultancy firm was hired to undertake the study and generated a feasibility review of the potential use of the models. The report documented that the models were at a very early developmental stage and required refining before they could be rolled out to pharmaceutical companies. There was however great interest from the companies and they could see the models potential. |
Exploitation Route | We need to refine the models we are using. This is currently being undertaken and hopefully we will submit a follow-on funding application within the next 12 months. |
