| Description | We completed a large market research survey across the UK, Europe and the United States on the demand for advanced skills training in mathematics, computing, statistics and data science for bioscience and health researchers. This work established that there is a very large and addressable global market for delivery of innovative skills training of this sort. Furthermore, information was obtained on competitors and their capabilities compared to SysMIC and market sectors were broken in to useful target audiences. This has allowed the prioritisation of future development plan for the SysMIC team and project. The information has been used in applications for further funding to support these developments both through UKRI (unsuccessful) and HEI partners (pending) and may also be used to support requests for further funding from other sources. |
