Description | During the 8 week internship at SilicoLife we built a draft genome scale model (GSM) of Eubacterium limosum, which we are now using as part of a collaboration with the Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology and the University of Toulouse. The specific techniques used throughout the model construction process, including transporter reaction identification, gene-reaction associations and model validation, have also been applied to improve our Cupriavidus necator model. |
Exploitation Route | It is anticipated that the GSM will form part of a joint publication in the near future with Advanced Institute of Science and Technology and the University of Toulouse. The model will alos be invaluable in the EraCoBioTech grant "BIOMETCHEM" (BB/R021503/1) |
