PI Contribution | Organised and ran the Argentina - UK Wheat Partnership Workshop, at which nine early career researchers and six leaders from across the UK Wheat research community engaged with senior and early career academics from the University of Buenos Aires. Lancaster University facilities were also used to provide training on leaf gas exchange methods to a doctoral candidate from University of Buenos Aires. The meeting was attended by two senior academics and three early career researchers from Lancaster, who brought their experience in BBSRC funded wheat research and wheat physiology. |
Collaborator Contribution | Two senior academics and an early career researcher travelled to the UK for the Argentina - UK Wheat Partnership Workshop. They presented key experimental results and approaches used at the University of Buenos Aires, and represented the Argentinian wheat improvement community through discussion of sectoral and environmental challenges and opportunities in Argentina. |
