| Description | We have many positive interactions between UK and Japanese engineering biology communities thanks to this award. The lead PI was invited to Japan in Dec 2023 to attend meetings and give seminars, and to discuss the plan for this award. WE organised a well-attend UK-Japan Engineering Biology meeting in London, in Apr 2024. We organised a UK-Japan engineering biology meeting in Osaka in Feb 2025. The final meeting will take place in Manchester in Sep 2025. We also secured substantial additional support from JST. |
| Exploitation Route | We have now cultivate a community of UK-Japan engineering biologists, and we regularly meet up to discuss collaborations and exchanges. |
