Molecular dissection of the role of ARAP3 in angiogenesis

Lead Research Organisation: Babraham Institute
Department Name: UNLISTED

Abstract

Abstracts are not currently available in GtR for all funded research. This is normally because the abstract was not required at the time of proposal submission, but may be because it included sensitive information such as personal details.

Technical Summary

Consistent delivery of oxygen and nutrients to all cells is vital for multicellular organisms. This need becomes particularly apparent during embryonic development or during growth of tumours. To be successful, in both cases, blood vessels need to be formed, by a specialised process termed angiogenesis. Angiogenesis is very complex.
