2010 grant balance Imperial College London

Lead Research Organisation: Imperial College London
Department Name: Physics

Abstract

We request funding to support activities in the EPSRC remit such as bridging funding to retain key staff; follow-on studies to determine commercial viability; collaborative meetings for future multi-disciplinary, international, or industry collaborations; pilot projects to determine feasibility of future EPSRC applications.

Planned Impact

It is intended that the funding provides as much added value and impact as possible. This is why it will be used to support bridging funding to retain key staff especially where this would alow the impact of particular research projects to be increased and follow-on studies to determine commercial viability. All recpients of support will be encouraged to ensure that the maximum impact can be generated from the funding provided.
