An Investigation Into the Sensitivity of Personal Information and Implications for Disclosure: A UK Perspective
in Frontiers in Computer Science
Description | We have performed initial in-depth studies considering the definitions of sensitive data particularly the effects of both the individual and the context of this disclosure. These have been contextualised within the use of conversational agents, we have particularly focussed on the application in both the healthcare and finance domain. |
Exploitation Route | We've clearly articulated the challenges of using conversational agents in sensitive areas, such as healthcare whilst identifying that there is more likely to be success and widespread adoption of conversational agents in the finance domain. We've also empirically demonstrated the data items that are difficult to gather from interactions with conversational agents. |
