Description The main published outcome from the work at Imperial on this project so far is our paper "PCQ: Parallel Compact Quantum Circuit Simulation". This outlines the design of a custom accelerator device for simulating quantum computations - and therefore a potentially crucial tool in supporting the design of future quantum computing devices. This design is shown to offer high efficiency (total energy to solution) compared with standard widely-used alternative tools.

We have further work in progress, also on simulation of quantum computers but using more conventional computing hardware, through operator fusion techniques.
Exploitation Route We are working on it - too early to say at this stage.
