| Description | The aim of this award was to support mathematical sciences doctoral students registered at the University of Sheffield to further develop their own research ideas, with the flexibility to use part of their time to prepare fellowship or other applications to support the next step on their career pathway. The scheme has supported six doctoral students to date (two of these still working as research associates at the time of writing). Three have gone on to further research associate or teaching posts in academia. The supplied link below is to some outreach work produced by on of the research associates. |
