Abstract
Abstracts are not currently available in GtR for all funded research. This is normally because the abstract was not required at the time of proposal submission, but may be because it included sensitive information such as personal details.

| Description | The most significant achievements from this award include the following results of the supported Research Associates: -Classification of integrable partial differential equations of Camassa-Holm type. -Developing and investigation of the model for complex liquids on surfaces that include colloidal particles. -Modelling the motility of filamentous Cyanobacteria, which are believed to be the first organisms to perform photosynthesis. Understanding how such organisms colonize surfaces and react to changing environmental conditions is vital to understanding the impacts of pollution and climate change. These results are either submitted or in preparation for publication |
