Abstract
Abstracts are not currently available in GtR for all funded research. This is normally because the abstract was not required at the time of proposal submission, but may be because it included sensitive information such as personal details.

| Description | This award funded 6 separate early-career researchers to continue their research for up to a year. All six of them have moved onto research-active roles, one in industry and five to further (longer) postdoctoral roles, including two on independent research fellowships. Their areas of research are very diverse, ranging from biomedical modelling to the most abstract of pure mathematics and to the fundamental statistics underpinning artificial intelligence. |
| Exploitation Route | The primary outcomes are already being taken forward further by the researchers involved - the most applied project is now part of a large interdisciplinary project in biomedical engineering. |
| Sectors | Digital/Communication/Information Technologies (including Software) Healthcare |
