Form Of Engagement Activity A talk or presentation
Part Of Official Scheme? No
Primary Audience
Results and Impact Presentation of the IO tool developed by Karen Turner under the Climate Change Leadership Fellowship to the Department of Energy and Climate Change (DECC) at the Embedded Emissions Workshop. Summary information on the workshop is given below.

Workshop organised by DECC to consider issues relating to the pollution embodied in trade.

The workshop was chaired by Duncan Brack (DECC Special Adviser).

The aim of the workshop was to:

· Review what consumption data there is, how robust it is, and what other data is on the horizon (Defra)

· Discuss realistic scope of achieving national reporting and whether the existing data sufficiently allows for this - if not, what are the gaps? What more data do we need?

· Consider what more can be done to target embedded emissions reductions through sustainable consumption policies
