Description | The project produced new findings concerning the governance of eco-city innovation. This relates to the processes of policy formation and implementation, and corresponding mechanisms for steering, coordinating and integrating decision actions. The findings have been reported through a series of project publications (see Publications tabl) and academic outputs. |

Description | (1) In 2014, the PI was invited to serve on the steering committee of the 'smart city vocabulary' standard (PAS 180) convened by the British Standards Institution. The BSI personnel inviting the PI had attended workshops held as part of this grant. (2) The PI was invited to serve on the Advisory Group of Ecocity Builder, which is an internationally active non-governmental / not-for-profit organisation based in Oakland, California/USA. As part of this board membership, the PI advises the organisation on aspects of eco-city governance. |
