Description | This funding allow the Unit to manage the COVID-19 crisis in The Gambia. We were able to open a section of our clinical services to COVID-19 patients and provide clinical care. Moreover, we were able to train health staff in public health facilities on the management of these patients. We set up the diagnostic facilities for COVID-19 in the Unit and extend the diagnostic facilities to the National Public Health Laboratories, of the Ministry of Health. |
