Abstract
The project aims to:
*Engage 2000 female secondary schools students with Science/STEM subject
*Inspire 2000 students through interaction with successful female scientists
*Demonstrate clear education and career pathways available to females in science
*Provide teachers and students a point of contact for advice concerning future education and careers in science.
*Encourage mothers to play a significant role in the scientific literacy and ambitions of their daughters.

Planned Impact
Chwarae Teg and Dark Sky Wales will distribute any resources through relevant websites and social media including Welsh Government .Conference papers will be produced to disseminate relevant materials to colleagues and relevant journal publications will be sought.

Results and Impact | Year 7 female students participated in several workshops led by female STEM practitioners. Lively discussion regarding gender equality were undertaken with many students expressing an interest in taking STEM career pathways during the day. |

Results and Impact | 200 Female students participated in a series of STEM based activities throughout the course of a school day. Inspirational female scientists facilitated the activities and allowed Q7A to take place throughout. Each students undertook four activities from several disciplines. School feedback was extremely positive and resulted in a lot more awareness of STEM as possible career pathways for students. |
