Support for DESI-UK Observers 2019 Dec - 2020 Feb

Abstract
There are 10 DESI-UK observers signed up to support DESI during this period, with a typical run of 4 nights each. We have costed the observing trips at £2.5k each, keeping in mind the uncertainty in USD to GBP exchange rate. Thus the total request is £25k, but it is expected that this is an upper limit to the actual expenses.
Planned Impact
The DESI experiment is poised to transform many fields including cosmology and large scale structure, galaxy evolution, and Milky Way science.
