Constructing the phase diagram of sodium laurylethoxysulfate using dissipative particle dynamics.

Description | During the last two years we mainly focused on the final performance of the product and the way that it will be affected by the product properties. The model used through the research provided an accurate insight to the microscopic structure the formulated product will have and pre-existing methodologies were used for the calculation of dynamical properties such as viscosity. Important questions were opened up on how efficient the aforementioned methodologies are in terms of dynamical properties calculations. |
Exploitation Route | Having the knowledge of the underlying microstructure a material has is important in industrial applications since it affects the product properties. Our findings can straightforward be used in industry in order to formulate a more effective product that will perform better. |

Results and Impact | Approximately 300 pupils attended TeenTech event, which sparked questions and discussion afterwards. The pupils reported increased interest in the demonstration of oobleck and were curious about the applications of these type of materials in everyday life. |
