PI Contribution | Exploring narrative structures for responsive, mixed media experiences: Working with FXT's StoryFormer and StoryPlayer tools, writing and creating a number of short stories using text, audio and other media which respond to the audience in a number of ways. The aim will be to explore the affordances of combinations of media alongside responsiveness and come up with a number of examples which can be used as templates or design patterns for new narrative forms. |
Collaborator Contribution | A set of short pieces of responsive object-based media experiences, which illustrate a series of design patterns for which can be used to inform future research and help teach new craft skills. Also new insights in to the ways in which audio and text can be combined to create new narrative structures. |
