Abstract
The project I will be continuing in the Sanger Institute, is designing a vaccine against Trypanosome infections in cattle - the lab has a promising protein subunit candidate from the cell surface of the parasite (and further candidates coming through) that I will perform biochemical analysis on (binding affinity experiments, protein-protein interaction studies, and attempt to resolve a protein structure by crystallography or Cryo-EM).
