The Use of Reactionware for Medical Chemistry Optimisation

Abstract

In this project we will explore the use of reactionware to develop synthesis modules suitable for med chem applications. A wide range of molecule types will be explored including peptide, nucleic acid, and stepwise synthesis systems to be done in a plastic format that uses architectural control rather than robotic synthesis techniques. The use of a variety of different reactionware / reactor materials and the surface modification of the shells for catch and release chemistry will be explored. Other general modules including oxidation, reduction, purification and deprotection will be explored.
