Dreamworlds Of Flight In The Age Of Surveillance Capitalism

In my research I propose to re-examine the conjunction between art, technology and the state in relation to the modernist avant-garde, and to develop new models for 'poetic technologies' that can present a critical dimension towards surveillance capitalism. Looking at the examples of the Russian avant-garde artists and the Soviet utopianism in reformulation of flight, I will reroute the trajectory of flight into the domestic, as a methodology to radically reengage with flight, dream and state formation.
