Abstract
This project is interdisciplinary between Philosophy (Aesthetics) and Visual Arts (History and Theory of Photography). The primary field is Philosophy of Photography, so the project will be based in the Dept of Philosophy at Warwick, but draw on the expertise in the History and Theory of Photography of a second supervisor in the School of Media and Performing Arts at Coventry. The split is 70/30, and both fields fall within the remit of the AHRC.
