Neutrino physics and the development of a novel radiation detector technology.
Lead Research Organisation:
University of Sussex
Department Name: Sch of Mathematical & Physical Sciences
Abstract
In this project, the student will work towards measuring the remaining unknown neutrino oscillation parameters
with the NOvA and DUNE long-baseline accelerator experiments. In parallel, they will develop the exciting new
concept of opaque scintillator radiation detectors and the potential applications of this technology with academic
and/or non-academic impact.
