UQ for Machine Learning

The objective of this project is to develop and apply novel statistical methods in order to integrate domain knowledge with data and lay the algorithmic foundations for digital twins in the context of high impact engineering applications. The topic is at the heart of an exciting area in modern computational applied m athematics, involving a close interplay between numerical analysis, statistics, inverse problems, data science, machine learning, data assimilation, and uncertainty quantification.
