Atomic Magnetometers for Magnetic Induction Tomography - AMMIT
Lead Participant:
THALES UK LIMITED
Abstract
University College London and Thales UK are collaborating to assess the feasibility of using atomic/quantum magnetometers to extend the sensitivity and range of conductivity measurements beyond that achievable using conventional coil based sensors. The project is also considering the scenarios where these devices might find application on land, at sea and in space.
