Computational modelling of absorption and metabolism in skin
Lead Research Organisation:

Abstract
This is a BBSRC Industrial CASE project with Unilever to develop new models for metabolism in skin. It will integrate the existing diffusion based model with metabolic network so that the prediction can be made about the entire ADME (absorption, distribution, metabolism and excretion) processes involved in dermal absorption. The model will be validated with data in the literature and in-house at Unilever.
