Department Name: Physics
Abstract
The high luminosity large hadron collider and future circular collider will push the collision luminosity for high energy and luminosity particle colliders. The increased particle rate will also require a corresponding increase collimation efficiency . The project will be to use (SixTrack) and develop specialised (BDSIM) simulation codes and analysis to simulate the collimation system for HL-LHC and FCC-hh. For HL-LHC the simulations will be compared with existing data from the LHC.
