Department Name: International Politics
Abstract
To analyse how and to what extent discourses of migration and views of multiculturalism shape policy provision documents and implementation but also government, media and public's opinion in a devolved country. Recent political shifts on a global scale have made it evident that society is becoming increasingly divided, for this reason it is important that devolved countries such as Wales, make a contribution by changing the political and media's discourses from assimilationist-separatist to integrationist in order to achieve true cohesion.

Results and Impact | the ESRC human geography in Wales postgraduate conference welcomes postgraduate student from across Wales to present their research and answer questions. The particular interest which engendered most questions and discussion following my presentation was defined by the project's methodology which employs visual creative methods. Question specifically revolved around trying to find out more about this methodology (which many had not yet come across and/or did not know enough about), and useful exchanges/tips with other postgraduates which also employed it in their own research. |
