Abstract
Embryonic development of the circadian system is yet to be elucidated. There is little research into the molecular interaction of stress and biological rhythms within the literature, and if this can perterb the development of seasonal behaviour. This PhD project aims to provide novel research into current gaps within the literature by elucidating the effects of prenatal stress on the development of the circadian system, and to functionally characterise the effects on seasonal behaviour.
