Abstract
Current and planned neutrino oscillation experiments use two main technologies: large water Cherenkovs and liquid argon TPCs. On the water Cherenkov side, the current experiment is T2K and its planned future successor is Hyper-Kamiokande. This project aims to improve the precision of current and future neutrino experiments in two ways:
- improving our understanding of neutrino-nucleus interactions via cross-section measurements and the testing and tuning of neutrino interaction models;
- developing calibration systems for Hyper-Kaionkande and testing them in Super-Kamiokande.
