Physics with liquid argon experiments: DUNE and ProtoDUNE

Abstract
The student will perform analysis of ProtoDUNE data from both particle test beam events and cosmic ray interactions, and use this to improve event reconstruction algorithms for ProtoDUNE and DUNE. He will also undertake simulations of interactions in DUNE, with an emphasis on analysing cosmic ray events with complex topologies, which may form a background to nucleon decay signatures.
