Abstract
My upcoming PhD topic at University of Strathclyde will be focussed on developing a compact double-resonance magnetometer system. Atomic magnetometers based on double resonance excitation are attractive devices for use in unshielded environments due to their wide dynamic range and high sensitivity. Novel and compact designs are required for many commercial applications while maintaining high sensitivity. Further work on developing a compact system capable of measuring with high accuracy, sensitivity and dynamic range is the pursuit of the upcoming PhD topic
