Investigation of the role of nutrient limitation and membrane stress in high-density protein production fermentation cultures for Industrial Biotechno
Lead Research Organisation:
University of Sheffield
Department Name: Clinical Dentistry
Abstract
This project is an academic-biotechnology industry collaborative project between Researchers at
the University of Sheffield and Fujifilm Diosynth Biotechnologies (http://www.fujifilmdiosynth.com/)
aimed at improving our understanding of bacterial production strain behavior using a combined
systems and synthetic biology approach (iTRAQ proteomics, potentially RNASeq, genome editing,
qPCR and bacterial fermentation alongside protein assays). You
