Abstract
The candidate will perform an analysis of data from the LHCb experiment at CERN, to measure the time-dependent decay of B mesons decaying to two neutral rho particles. This analysis can be used with other information from similar channels to extract the CKM matrix unitarity angle alpha. The candidate will also perform commissioning of new electronics for the upgraded VELO detector for LHCb.
