Abstract
This PhD will aim to investigate the robotic autonomous mobility and industrial factory coordination in aircraft wing assembly.
The main objectives are to:
1) Investigate and develop systems to make a static seal and clean robot system more mobile by considering the parameters affecting mobility for example sealant viscosity.
2) Investigation of process anomalies and how to accommodate them in the mobility of static seal and clean robot system particularly focussing on route blockages.
3) Develop machine learning for further development of 'fire and forget' approach for static seal and clean robot systems.
4) Investigation of future steps to fully autonomous mobile robot factory.
