Abstract
This research project aims to improve and develop techniques for the impedance matching of broadband radio-frequency systems. Particular focus is being attached to copper twisted pair transmission lines, with experimental and computational methods being used to quantify their impedance. The same methods are to be applied to the Radio Experiment for the Analysis of Cosmic Hydrogen (REACH) radiometer to be deployed in 2019 which aims to detect the global 21cm signal.
