Lead Research Organisation:

Department Name: Clinical Neurosciences
Abstract
I propose to investigate the immune basis of Parkinson's disease (PD), specifically in clarifying the roles of toll-like
receptors (TLRs) in PD progression. This PhD will be split into three main project areas, the first will build on my existing
work being carried out in a rat model of PD.
