Abstract
Air pollution is a globally pervasive problem that is calculated to lead to the premature deaths of millions of people every year. However, there are major uncertainties in the accuracies of these calculations. In this project we will aim to improve understanding through the examination of novel big data sets derived from hyperlocal air quality networks using novel measurement technologies and the development of new analysis algorithms based around regression and novel machine learning based approaches.
