Abstract
My research aims to use more advanced techniques to understand the incidence and spread of plague in the early modern period. It will also attempt to understand more about the causes of plague and the effectiveness of human interventions to combat it. Finally, it will investigate the economic implications of plague for inequality and economic growth.
