Abstract
The techniques of chiral perturbation theory and effective field theories for nucleon-nucleon interactions will be applied to calculate electroweak interactions of single nucleons and few-nucleon systems. A particular focus will be the responses of these systems to electroweak probes, for example their polarisabilities. The methods will be applied to various processes of current interest: real and virtual Compton scattering, radiative weak decays and neutrino interactions.
