Abstract
Noncommutative Gaussian processes span the range from classical stochastic processes, random matrix theory, stochastic aspects of classical and quantum groups, and probabilistic aspects of operators on infinite-dimensional Hilbert spaces. They have wide-ranging applications, from engineering and finance to quantum mechanics and quantum computation. This project explores analytic and combinatorial aspects of noncommutative Gaussian processes, with emphasis on quantum probability and free probability.
