Abstract
This project will create a prototype design for an ultra-low-cost DAC system, and consider its integration into a wider climate mitigation strategy. By exploiting new nanomaterials technology developed at Imperial, a new solid state capture system is envisioned with minimal moving parts, long cycle life, and ambient operation. The project will design, optimise and evaluate the new sorbent material system, collecting key parameter data to drive fuller system evaluation.
