Abstract
The processing mechanisms1-2 and difficulties3-7 underlying the atypical speech-in-noise (SiN)
perception in Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) are not fully understood. Using behavioural
and EEG experiments, this proposal will investigate the acoustic-phonetic and linguistic
interferences of multiple types of noises, including speech, non-speech and music, as well as
the top-down modulation of selective attention on SiN perception in ASD.
