Abstract

 
Description This grant aimed at facilitating collaborative research between UK and Brasil in the area of producing biofuels from lignocellulose. It led to a BBSRC-funded (with FAPESP) partnering award. In addition, the two participating research groups (in the UK and Brasil) have co-authored publications and a PhD student from Professor Archer's group joined the Brasil group as a post-doctoral scientist after her PhD.
Exploitation Route The research outputs have been published and cited so it is clear that others have already found our research of importance.
